Long Future Institute Conference - Terms & Conditions

  1. Introduction: These Terms & Conditions apply to all attendees registered for the Long Future Institute Conference. By completing the registration process, attendees agree to these terms.

  2. Registration and Payment: Registration for the conference will be considered confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Payments can be made through methods specified on the conference registration page.

  3. Pricing: The student fee for attendees up to the PhD level is £50. The early bird fee is £75, valid until 3rd June 2024. The regular fee is £120. All prices include any applicable taxes.

  4. Confirmation: Confirmation of registration will be sent via email upon receipt of payment.

  5. Cancellation by Attendee: Cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made after 3rd June 2024.

  6. Cancellation or Changes by Organizer: If the conference is cancelled by the organizer for any reason, all attendees will receive a full refund of the ticket price within 30 days of the announcement of cancellation. The organizer is not responsible for any other costs incurred by attendees as a result of the cancellation.

  7. Transfers: Attendees may transfer their tickets to another individual. The organizer must be notified in writing of all details of the transfer.

  8. Data Privacy: Attendee data will be collected and stored in compliance with UK data protection laws.

  9. Event Conduct: Attendees are expected to behave professionally at all times during the conference. Any form of harassment is strictly prohibited.

  10. Liability: The organizer's liability is limited to the value of the ticket purchased.

  11. Recordings and Media: By attending the conference, attendees acknowledge that the event will be recorded and consent to the use of this media by the conference organizer.

  12. Accessibility and Special Requirements: The conference venue is wheelchair-friendly. Attendees with special requirements are requested to notify the organizer in advance.

  13. Force Majeure: The organizer is not responsible for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.

  14. Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of these Terms & Conditions will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

  15. Changes to Terms & Conditions: The organizer reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Changes will be posted on the conference webpage.
